Early Voting

Dayton Township is currently partnered with Newaygo County Clerk's Office to conduct Early Voting. 45 days prior to a federal election, the County Clerk's office will post the hours of Early Voting for that specific election. Early Voting is open 9 days prior to a federal election. These nine days will begin on the second Saturday before a statewide or federal election and will end on the Sunday before the same.

If you obtain a State issued ID, Drivers License, or renew a Driver's License you will automatically be registered to vote. To confirm registration status please review the Michigan Voter Information tab above > "Your Voter Information" > "Am I  Registered"

If you are applying for renewing or updating information on your driver's license or state ID card, you will be automatically registered to vote unless you are ineligible or you decline registration.

Dayton Township provides  visual and hearing impaired equipment along with a wheelchair ramp at our facility.
