Dayton
Township continues to improve and
maintain our roads prioritizing the
development of
connecting roadways whenever asphalt is used for the improvement. The
Newaygo County Road Commission assists us in applying for grant monies
to help maximize our resources. We also contract with a private firm
each year to brine our gravel roads three times during the summer
months for dust control. Road Committee members are currently studying
funding options in an effort to provide additional resources for road
improvement. The information gathered from the Committee's three
(3) work sessions is indicated below for your information.
